PRIVACY POLICY

This policy explains what personal information Astra Tactical collects through the Mission Control app and this website, why we collect it, and what control you have over it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.

Who we are

Astra Tactical operates airsoft events in India and provides Mission Control, the companion app for players at those events. We are the data controller for the information described below. You can reach us at privacy@astratactical.com.

What we collect

• ▸Your email address and callsign, so you can sign in and be identified at events.
• ▸Your mobile phone number, so we can reach you about the operations you register for.
• ▸The invite code you joined with.
• ▸Your event registrations and attendance.
• ▸Your game history, XP and coin balance, and the record of rewards you redeem.
• ▸A hashed form of your IP address, kept only to rate-limit sign-in and password-reset abuse. We do not store raw IP addresses.

We do not collect your location, your contacts, your photos, or anything from your device beyond what is listed above.

How we use it

To run your account, place you on event rosters, track your progression, honour reward redemptions, and keep the service secure against automated abuse. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Marketing communications

With your explicit opt-in — a checkbox at sign-up that is switched off by default — we may send you event invitations and updates by WhatsApp. This is entirely optional and you can play without it.

You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@astratactical.com or by deleting your account. We will stop sending marketing messages promptly once you tell us to.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly, aggregate page analytics: counts of page views and referrers, in aggregate only. There are no third-party advertising networks, no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies, and no sale of data. The app sets a single session cookie so you stay signed in — nothing else.

Where your data is stored

In a MySQL database hosted on our Hostinger infrastructure. Passwords are never stored in readable form — they are hashed with bcrypt. Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted in transit.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the app: Profile → Settings → Delete Account. See astratactical.com/delete-account for full instructions.

When you delete your account we permanently remove your personal information — your email address, callsign, phone number and password. This is immediate and irreversible, and you will not be able to sign back in.

We retain anonymised game statistics — matches played, XP and coin history, and reward collection records — for our event and financial records. Once your account is deleted, that data can no longer be linked back to you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@astratactical.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Astra Tactical enforces a minimum age of 18 at all events, and Mission Control accounts are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
